Meet the founder
Hi, I'm Ana Ciuculete
Founder of AFS Books and a qualified finance professional with degrees in finance, banking and accounting, and a member of the IAB (Institute of Accountants and Bookkeepers).
Over the last 30 years I've built my career across finance, banking and accounting, progressing into management roles and running my own finance brokerage business before moving into UK accounting practices. This experience has given me a practical understanding of both the financial and day-to-day challenges business owners face.
Working in UK accounting practices gave me valuable insight into the importance of accurate bookkeeping and well-maintained records. I've seen the same challenges time and again when taking over new portfolios: records that needed correction, duplicated transactions and documents, incorrect VAT records, unreconciled accounts and other inconsistencies. Working across a wide range of industries and helping them gain better financial control and cash-flow visibility reinforced my belief that accurate records should be maintained to a high standard from the outset.
I founded AFS Books as a remote bookkeeping practice, bringing my broader financial experience to business owners across England. I take pride in delivering accurate records, well-organised finances, and clear, practical information for confident decision-making.
